20 gener, 2018 at 14:16From my point of view, when I consider this question, I think about two things. Firstly, an advantage of living in a place with a lot of tourism is that it benefits the service sector where we can include hotels, bars, restaurants, and more else. A sector that usually has a great impact on the economy in that kind of cities.
Secondly, as far as I am concerned, a city with a lot of tourist could also affect negatively the residents of most popular areas. Massification has a great impact on the tranquility of the neighborhod that can also affect their lifestyle.
What’s your view on this?

22 gener, 2018 at 22:34Yes, and I’d like to add that, when you’re in a place with many tourists, it’s very beneficial for citizens, since it’s guaranteed jobs more people and the economy grows. However, from my point of view, there’re also disadvantages, because the city isn’t for its people just for the tourists, as there is too much noise in the centre of the city, restaurants only for tourists, crowed museums, etc.

21 gener, 2018 at 19:48From my point of view there are a few advantatges as you can talk with a lot of people from different nationalities and cultures and of course you can learn a great deal of things from they. Another advantage may be the fact that if there is a lot of tourism in a city their economic gains are very high and that is positive for that site. On the other hand it is true that cities with a large number of tourists makes the city more stressful and the inhabitants sometimes feel overwhelmed to see so many people constantly.
What’s your take on this?

22 gener, 2018 at 20:46I totally agree with you, and apart form that I wold like to add another advantage because tourists promote internatinal communication and links that can provide more business and at the same time many jobs in tourist sectors such as hotels or shops can take off. But as fast as they increase the jobs, they also increase the prices of all local products. What’s more the people who live around a lot of people tend to be always stressed and keeping an eye on the bag so thieves don’t steal it.

22 gener, 2018 at 15:37As far as I’m concerned, tourism has many advantages for our city, although it has less for the citizens of It.
The main advantage is that tourism is a key source of income and employement. It’s also a way of sharing our culture with people from around the world.
Unfortunately, it has disadvantages too. If tourism isn’t managed correctly it can make locals feel uncomfortable and stressed about crowded places and booze tourism.
That’s my point of view, what’s your opinion?
Maria Cardona
22 gener, 2018 at 17:59From my point of view the advantages of the tourism are few, but we can higlight the abundance of shops and restaurants. So, we have several options to choose a place to eat or to buy. In contrast, there are important disadvantatges because living in a city with a lot of tourism it can be overwhelming in some situations. For example, there is a constant noise that can be very annoying.
What do you think?

23 gener, 2018 at 8:41I accept that we should consider that tourism has many advantages. Tourism brings many benefits, for example, increasing the economy and generating new jobs. However, I agree with the disadvantages that you mention. I’d like to add that tourism can cause environmental deterioration.

22 gener, 2018 at 23:08As far as I’m concerned, tourism has as many advantatges as disadvantatges. Tourism gives to cities different cultures and different ways of seeing life. Furthermore, people who travel to cities give a lot of money to the country they are visiting and they contribute a lot in its economy.
On the other hand, has also so many disadvantatges. For instance, massive tourism can kill the city because of their lack of respect to the people who lives there. They are not respecting the neighbors when they do parties in the street and scream without shame.
What’s your point of view on this?
Nadia Domenech
23 gener, 2018 at 15:46From my point of view, tourism is much more important than other activities which are connected with the development of our country. About what Maria said I’d like to add that another advantatge is that living with people from other countries make an open-minded society. Although there are also disadvantatges as Maria has said, the way I see them is that tourism could destroy the main culture and take it over from others.

5 febrer, 2018 at 15:31From my point of view, one of the advantages of living in a place with a lot of tourism is the opportunity that you have for meeting people of other countries because allows you to know other cultures and this opens your mind. Futhermore, another benefit is the wide variety of entertainment options that you will surely never be bored.
However, there also disadvantages like the overcrowding which does not allow you to enjoy your own city. Another drawback is the loss of local culture due to tourists and as a consequence the cultural identity and customs are threatened.
What do you think, Lucía?

6 febrer, 2018 at 17:50Yes Sara, I agree with you, I think that living in a city with tourism allows you to meet new people and learn abuout other cultures. Nevertheless, there are also some disadvantages like the traffic jam and the crowded streets.
